A Study On The Pikeur Trailers

By Katrina Wheeler

Preview is an advertisement for a feature film or a movie. It contains hints on what will be in the film that is expected to be shown in the future. A study on the pikeur trailers reveals that initially it was shown in the theaters after a one film had been presented t the individuals. It served to show that on what will be in the next film for another day.

The other part is the act two also referred to as the middle section of the story. This is the section that drives the whole story. It gives the whole condensed form of the whole story. It can end with a dramatic experience that is bound to attract a large number of audiences. The last section is referred to as the strong piece it is was in other cases known as signature music.

The maximum time that the preview should take is two minutes and thirty seconds. A producer is not allowed to exceed this time limit. But once a year a studio can be allowed to present one of the previews to exceed this time span. This should be on those movies that a producers see necessary.

Initially the preview was presented at the end of one film in the theater. This however did not last for long because the patron of the film could go from the theater immediately after the end of the first movie. To ensure that is played the purpose that it is intended for, they began to show it at the beginning of the film itself. It therefore presented the whole film in a condensed fashion before it could be played.

A research on the trailers further reveals that they are made up of three major sections. The first section is the beginning act that presents the premise of the movie. One can be able to discover the place where the movie was based. The other section is the act two that is use in giving the outlay of the story in the condensed way. At the end of this section a person should be able to create some climax to keep the desire of the audience high enough.

The producer can use special shoots for the preview that is not in the movie but was created specifically for advertising it. The preview should however not be misleading in anyway. Some of the instances that are misleading include an instance in which a minor actor is presented as celebrity leaving out the main actor. This gives false impression to the audience on what they are about to view.

The preview is made up of three main parts. This is the act one that presents the premise of story. It sets the environment in which the movie will be situated. There is also the middle part that act as a driver over the story. It can end with a dramatic experience. Then the last is the signature music.

A research on the pikeur trailers further reveal that most of the slots that are used do not necessary flow in the order that they appear in the movie. The order can be in the way that they bring out the best form of attraction possible. This therefore depends on the producer that is working on it.
